Qualifications


Newmont seeks graduates with:
  • Strong teamwork, initiative and communication skills;
  • A track record and desire to work in remote locations.
Successful Electrical Engineering graduates will possess:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) and/or (Power Systems Engineering)
  • Previous industry / vacation work experience within the mining industry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook
  • High written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
