Konstruksi Dan Cara Kerja Damper Pada Torqueflow Transmisi

Sahabat teknisi, melanjutkan pembahasan pada posting sebelumnya, kali ini saya akan sedikit menjelaskan tentang bagaimana konstruksi dan cara kerja dari damper itu sendiri.  Ada dua macam damper yang digunakan di Komatsu, untuk meredam getaran tersebut, yaitu :

1. Spring Damper
Damper ini menggunakan torsion spring untuk meredam getaran, dimana disc diikatkan pada flywheel sehingga begitu engine hidup damper disc langsung berputar, Berputarnya damper disc ini akan menarik torsion spring, kemudian torsion spring akan membawa friction plate berputar sehingga
splined hub juga ikut berputar memutarkan out put shaft. Unit yang memakai damper tipe ini, seperti D 21, D31, D41.



2. Rubber Damper
Konstruksi seperti terlihat pada gambar dibawah, dimana outer body diikatkan ke flywheel. Shaft output terpasang pada inner body (splined) sedangkan antara outer body dan inner body dipasang rubber cushion.


Tenaga engine dipindah ke flywheel dan outer body (6), kemudian rubber cushion (7) meredam getaran engine. Tenaga engine kemudian diteruskan melalui inner body (8) ke output shaft (2). Dari sini, tenaga engine diteruskan melalui coupling ke torque converter. Damper tipe ini dipakai pada unit WA 500, WA 800, HD 325 , HD 785, D 375A-2 dan sebagainya.
